I think it's much easier to be like this before anything physical has happened. As when we release oxytocin it makes it way harder for us to stay logical and think rationally. Do you have any tips on how to control your emotions after these things happen because I feel biology wants to take over at that point, but men don't respect it.
Once physical intimacy happens, it's usually (not always) the woman that gets attached and becomes needy. The best way to have our power back is to live our best life, not depending on whether the man texts, calls or shows up. If the man truly values the woman, he will come back; if he doesn't, be grateful to find space in your life for the right one.

Knowing oneself is a process that is so rewarding that leads to victor consciousness as opposed to victim mentality. Know that you can, and you will ; )
@@vm6796 It isn't men that get attached after physical intimacy but women. Men tend to pull away after a sexual encounter to recover testosterone that has been depleted. Meanwhile, oxytocin release in a woman in just one encounter may be overrated in saying it causes them to bond instantly with the man and become clingy. This is based on studies I've read.

I have not gone that far to know what I can and can't handle, but in all honestly I just don't feel mentally or physically ready for these things yet. I don't text, but I am a good woman. Why should a relationship be all texting and social media? We are here to actually live and experience our lives in full, not full of distractions. If a man don't text, you don't have to worry about him texting other women either. One less thing to even have to worry about till you know each other and if you can trust them. I think that is bad advice unless he is texting others and just not you then yes that would be a red flag.

I asked him to stop sharing anecdotes about other women from the past who fell for him, just looking dor my opinion to know why women react that way without he doing something. He got angry and said he will never share something personal with me, just superficial conversations. However, after I was weak and shown him I care about him sharing personal things with me and not just reducing me to an aquaintance. Hi Greta, unfortunately when looking back i was chasing a bit more after i fell for his initial chase towards me. I stopped interacting after he left me on read when i replied back to his happy new year text to me... then out of no where he snapchatted me the other day(months later from not hearing him since then) and he sent a selfie of him in bed around 9PM on this past sunday. Honestly i really dont know how i should take this or what this means if he ghosted me first, i will also mention he has been watching my past stories ive been posting (and i only post once or twice a month if even)... what should I do? I never replied back but also what does this mean?

A couple weeks after this recent incident (mid may) he sent me another snap on a saturday night with no caption again besides the filter saying "weekend face" lol. At that point i was turned off, he would REALLY have to fight to get my attention at this point. Also I will add that my best friend found out the other day that he posted on his his ig with a new girl at dinner and captioned it "💖". Meanwhile he still viewed my story the other day LOL im confused because a month ago he was posting a picture or 2 of different apparel ive purchased for him in the past. Man is just weird and not worth it.
